Contract assembly manufacturing is an outsourced production arrangement in which a manufacturing partner builds products or sub-assemblies to a customer’s design, documentation, and quality requirements. At Cir-Q-Tek, this can include PCB fabrication, component purchasing, SMT and through-hole assembly, inspection, testing, box build assembly, packaging, and delivery. It helps customers consolidate suppliers while retaining control of their product specifications.

A sub-assembly is a functional portion of a larger finished product, such as a populated circuit board or an assembled electronic module. Final assembly, often called box build, combines those sub-assemblies with enclosures, hardware, wiring, and other supplied components. Cir-Q-Tek supports PCB assemblies as well as complete box build work within its integrated manufacturing service.

Yes. Cir-Q-Tek supports small prototype orders as well as production quantities for PCB and PCBA programs. Quick-turn PCB prototype samples generally take three days to build and two days to ship. Production and manufacturing orders are generally ready to ship in 10 days to four weeks, depending on the project’s specifications, materials, sourcing requirements, and production scope.

For PCB and PCBA quotes, Cir-Q-Tek requests a Gerber package or ODB file and a bill of materials (BOM). These documents define the board fabrication data and required components so the team can review manufacturability and sourcing needs. For non-PCB items, CAD and 3D data and/or fabrication drawings are required to prepare a quote.

Yes. Electronic component purchasing is included within Cir-Q-Tek’s turnkey PCB assembly capabilities. Its procurement team can also source obsolete or hard-to-get components and equivalents for assembly applications. Providing a complete, accurate BOM with manufacturer part numbers, approved alternates, quantities, and component requirements supports a more efficient sourcing and production review.

Each SMT line is equipped with automated optical inspection (AOI) and X-ray equipment for inline automated inspection. These systems help verify soldering and component placement during production, including for compact and complex packages. Cir-Q-Tek’s assembly facilities are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949 standards for applicable medical and automotive manufacturing requirements.

Cir-Q-Tek builds printed circuit board assemblies for industrial process control, telecommunications, gaming, product dispensing, audio and video, computers, medical and health-care devices, and automotive applications. Its capabilities include SMT processing, through-hole assembly, testing, complete box build assembly, and packaging. SMT equipment can process 01005 components, QFN, CSP, and BGA packages with 0.2 mm spacing.

Cir-Q-Tek uses lean and just-in-time manufacturing methods to support efficient supply-chain planning. It can stock parts and ship them according to customer schedules, helping customers align deliveries with production needs and reduce unnecessary inventory exposure. Delivery timing depends on the specific build, component availability, manufacturing scope, inspection requirements, and shipping arrangements established for the program.
